My philosophy with Horton Guitars is to build the best guitar possible. In sound and playability. I always use all solid woods and good quality materials. I like to take the extra time and go the extra mile to make an extraordinary guitar. I find that the hardest part of building a great guitar is learning to control and direct the voice of the guitar. Since wood is a very inconsistent material each piece needs to be individually worked based on its stiffness and resonance. This has been my focus on my guitars for some time now, and it is starting to pay off. I would like to point out that my guitars have a much lower price than many handmade guitars. This is mostly due to needing to build a reputation for good guitars. It also is because I am not taking custom orders at this time. I prefer to focus on the body shapes and woods that I want to use to get the sounds from them that I want. So, don’t confuse low price with low quality. I will raise my prices at some point but for now I would like to build the guitars the way that I want them, get them into the hands of players, and get some good feedback on them. If you are interested in getting one of my guitars check the for sale page from time to time and feel free to inquire about any guitar listed.
14 Day Money Back Guarantee
I want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your Horton Guitar. If I am selling guitars that players are not satisfied with I am not going to get anywhere and there would be no point to all of this. However, I do have to protect myself from loosing money. In the event that you are dissatisfied with your guitar and want to return it you will be responsible for covering shipping costs both ways. Upon receiving the guitar and checking that there are no scratches, modifications, or damage, you will be refunded the full price of the guitar less any shipping charges. Customers being responsible for shipping is basically just to insure that buyers are serious and I don’t have people buying and returning just to “rent” the guitar.
